According to the present invention, disclosed is a processing method of an acoustic-based vehicle abnormality detection system comprising the steps of: (a) collecting vehicle information including an acoustic signal generated from mechanical or electronic devices of a vehicle and a vehicle number and a vehicle type of the vehicle; (b) digitizing the collected acoustic signal to generate acoustic information data; (c) mapping the acoustic information data onto an error database (DB) for each vehicle type, which is previously converted into a database, or analyzing a pattern of acoustic information to detect an abnormality of the vehicle; and (d) generating an abnormality report when the abnormality is found in the acoustic information, storing the abnormality report in the error DB for each vehicle type, and notifying a service provider or a driver of an abnormal situation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
