The present invention relates to an absorbent composition for removing acidic gas, and more particularly, it is characterized by comprising ethylene glycol and phosphate, thereby improving absorption capacity and absorption rate for acidic gas, which is used in the acidic gas capture process of the IGCC process. It shows an excellent effect in reducing the amount and circulation amount of the absorbent composition.
