An apparatus according to the present invention distinguishes the moving state of a moving object from the surrounding sounds while moving together with the moving object. To this end, acoustic frequency distribution information is obtained regularly for a predetermined cycle with respect to the surrounding sounds generated around the apparatus. With respect to the frequency distribution information obtained at the regular intervals, a unit band having the maximum frequency component is found based on a reference bandwidth for each sub-band resulting from division of a designated target band and the unit band is marked as a dominant band. The distribution form of the dominant band is checked on a dominant band distribution table configured by combination of a pre-designated time portion of the frequency distribution information in which the dominant band is marked for each sub-band. When it is confirmed that there is a distribution pattern matching one among unique patterns respectively set for the pre-designated certain sounds, the currently moving object is identified as being in a moving state corresponding to the certain sound set as the unique pattern matching the distribution pattern.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
