A parking impact identifying system comprises a plurality of vehicle terminals and an analysis server. Each of the vehicle terminals comprises: a camera configured to generate image data; an acceleration meter configured to generate acceleration data; a vehicle model data storing unit configured to store vehicle model data; a pattern data storing unit configured to store vehicle model pattern data that represent acceleration patterns for an accident impact and a non-accident impact as vehicle model pattern data selected according to the vehicle model of the vehicle; an impact determining unit configured to determine whether an impact occurs during parking of the vehicle; an accident identifying unit configured to identify whether the impact during parking is an accident impact or a non-accident impact by comparing acceleration data with acceleration patterns when it is determined that the accident occurs during parking; and a communication unit configured to transmit an impact data set to an analysis server when it is determined that the impact occurs during the parking. The analysis server updates pattern data for vehicle models based on an impact data set and provides the updated pattern data for vehicle models to a plurality of vehicle terminals.
