Receiving a request comprising an entity identifier of an entity referenced by a search query submitted by the user and one or more context terms referenced by the search query; Identifying a plurality of knowledge elements associated with the entity; Identifying one or more context terms associated with the entity referenced by the search query; Assigning, by one or more computers, ranking scores to the plurality of knowledge elements based on identifying the one or more context terms associated with the entity referenced by the search query; Selecting one or more knowledge elements from among the knowledge elements based at least on the rank scores assigned to the knowledge elements; And methods, systems and apparatus for providing information associated with the entity and the one or more selected knowledge elements in response to the request. As will be understood from throughout the specification, identification and provision of knowledge elements provides a number of technical benefits, at least not only a reduction in network traffic resulting from users interacting with search results.
