The present invention relates to a method for keeping freshness of crops in a low temperature storage room where crops are stored. According to the present invention, the low temperature storage room comprises: an ozone gas detection means for detecting a concentration of an ozone gas within the low temperature storage room; an ethylene gas detection means for detecting a concentration of an ethylene gas generated from the crops; a plasma ozone generation means installed at an arbitrary place within the low temperature storage room; an OH radical generation means installed at an arbitrary place within the low temperature storage room; a diffusion fan diffusing ozone generated from the ozone generation means and OH-(hydroxyl radical) generated from the OH radical generation means into the low temperature storage room; and a control panel. The method for keeping freshness by using the low temperature storage room comprises the steps of: receiving, from the control panel, whether the low temperature storage room is operated in a manual mode or an automatic mode; if the manual mode is selected, operating the OH radical generation means; receiving, from the control panel, a turn-on time and a turn-off time during generation of the plasma ozone; and operating the plasma ozone generation means corresponding to the turn-on time and the turn-off time of the plasma ozone generation means.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
