Provided is a fashion coordination recommendation method based on clothing owned by user. The method, performed by a server, comprises the steps of: obtaining information of clothing owned by a user from a user terminal; extracting a clothing factor from the information of the clothing owned by the user, and analyzing feature information on the information of the clothing owned by the user based on the clothing factor; specifying the user on a multi-dimensional space indicating similarities between users based on a result of analyzing the feature information; and recommending at least one of the clothing owned by the user to the user based on information of clothing owned by a user group placed in a space adjacent to the user on the multi-dimensional space.
