The present invention relates to a medium-temperature asphalt concrete composition and a construction method using the composition, wherein the medium-temperature asphalt concrete composition contains, based on 100 parts by weight of new asphalt: 1 to 25 parts by weight of styrene isoprene styrene; 1 to 25 parts by weight of a styrene ethylene butylene styrene copolymer; 1 to 25 parts by weight of a petroleum resin; 20 to 70 parts by weight of recycled asphalt recycled aggregate; 500 to 2,000 parts by weight of new aggregate; 30 to 150 parts by weight of aggregate powder; 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of cellulose fiber; 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of wax; and 0.1 to 2 parts by weight of an antioxidant. The medium-temperature asphalt concrete composition according to the present invention, and specifically, the medium-temperature asphalt concrete composition having SIS, SEBS, recycled asphalt, and aggregate powder of improved grain size, is highly durable, and plastic deformation, aging, and/or peeling is unlikely to occur. In addition, a pouring process can be carried out with ease and at a low cost and pouring and/or laying can be performed at a medium temperature lower than the temperature of a plain asphalt concrete composition.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
