Provided is a method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material for a potassium ion secondary battery, and a positive electrode prepared by including the same and a potassium ion secondary battery including the same. The method for preparing a positive electrode active material for a potassium ion secondary battery of the present invention comprises preparing a mixed solution containing a potassium precursor, a manganese oxide precursor, a cobalt precursor, and a solvent, and preparing a mixed solution by spraying the mixed solution, and heat-treating the droplet phase to heat potassium manganese And forming a cobalt oxide. According to the present invention, by providing a positive electrode active material that is potassium manganese cobalt oxide, it is possible to further improve the life characteristics and cycle characteristics of a potassium ion secondary battery including the same. Furthermore, by providing a method for producing potassium manganese cobalt oxide using an ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method, it is possible to manufacture a positive electrode active material having uniform crystallinity and securing structural stability in a simpler process.
