According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for detecting a hidden chrome orebody (chromite ore) using a hazbergite. The method is based on a content of constituent elements measured in hazbergite among collected samples and an anomal zone map created for the constituent elements, and detects dunite embedding the chrome orebody to detect the hidden chrome orebody. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the detection probability of the dunite body, which is the main mother rock in which the chrome orebody is embedded, during wide-area exploration, and it is possible to increase exploration efficiency by combining geochemical vectoring techniques and a geochemical anomal zone map derived through geochemical exploration.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
