The present invention relates to a nucleic acid probe or primer for searching and/or quantifying a genome of plant of genus Senna, comprising at least one nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of nucleic acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 14; a composition and a kit for searching and/or quantifying a genome of plant of genus Senna, comprising the nucleic acid probe or the primer; and a method for searching a genome of plant of genus Senna, comprising the steps of mixing the nucleic acid probe or the primer with a sample including a repeat sequence derived from the genome of plant of genus Senna to carry out hybridization; and detecting whether the nucleic acid probe or the primer is hybridized or not. According to the present invention, the nucleic acid probe or the primer, or a complex comprising the same shows excellent efficiency of hybridization to provide high reproductivity in FISH analysis, and also enables a cost- and time-efficient FISH analysis on a major repeat sequence specific to plant of genus Senna. Accordingly, the present invention can be usefully applied to figuring out a genome structure of various plants of genus Senna and making a comparative analysis on interspecific genomes.
