Permission for drone access to distribution centers

Systems and methods are described for authorizing drones with access to public distribution centers (AFCs) and other warehouse facilities. For example, systems and methods perform a number of authentication processes, including a physical authentication process and a virtual or electronic authentication process, when determining whether a drone is allowed to access AFC. Once authorized, the drone can access the AFC to pick up and/or ship packages or other products for recharging, pursuing repairs, housing, and the like.
