Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for processing transmission and reception signals considering a power restriction for individual antennas in a multi-antenna multi-transmission-reception communication system using relays. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for processing transmission and reception signals considering a power restriction for individual antennas in a multi-antenna multi-transmission-reception communication system using relays, which enable a plurality of terminals to concurrently perform direct inter-terminal communications via a relay in a multi-antenna environment, comprising the steps of: receiving signals to perform multi-antenna signal processing calculation of a transmitter considering a power restriction for each antenna equal to and less than a maximum power available from a power amplifier mounted on each antenna of the transmitter; receiving signals from the transmitter to perform multi-antenna signal processing calculation of the relay considering a power restriction for each antenna equal to and less than a maximum power available from a power amplifier mounted on each antenna of the relay; and receiving signals from the relay to perform multi-antenna signal processing calculation of a receiver.
