In the present invention, the user equipment receives random access information and transmits a random access channel (RACH) preamble based on the random access information. The RACH preamble has a first length equal to the total length of two or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols. The RACH preamble consists of a sequence part generated based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence, and a cyclic prefix (CP). The sequence portion has a second length, and the CP has the third length such that the sum of the second length and the third length is equal to the first length.
