The present invention relates to a composite anode material for a secondary battery comprising a lithium titanium oxide nano flake and a titanium dioxide nano tube and a method for manufacturing the same, comprising: (a) mixing titanium butoxide (TB) with ethanol; (b) adding a lithium hydroxide solution to the mixed solution subjected to step (a); (c) preparing a lithium titanate nano flake (LTO-NF) by hydrothermal reaction of the mixed solution subjected to step (b); (d) ultrasonicating the titanium dioxide nanoparticle solution; (e) preparing a titanium dioxide nanotube (TNT) by subjecting the titanium dioxide nanoparticle solution subjected to step (d) to a hydrothermal reaction; (f) mixing the materials prepared in steps (c) and (e) above. According to the present invention as described above, by synthesizing the lithium titanium oxide nano flake and the titanium dioxide nano tube through an easy hydrothermal reaction and mechanically mixing them to produce a composite anode material for a lithium secondary battery, it is higher than the existing composite anode material for a lithium secondary battery. Composite positive electrode materials that exhibit a specific electrical capacity, fast charge and discharge capability, and long cycle life can be produced.
