The exoskeleton technique is described herein. Such techniques include, but are not limited to, exoskeletons, exoskeleton controllers, methods for controlling exoskeletons, and combinations thereof. Exoskeletal technology may facilitate, enhance, and/or replace the natural mobility of a user through a combination of sensor elements, processing/control elements, and actuation elements. User movement may be induced by electrical stimulation of the user's muscles, actuation of one or more mechanical components, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, exoskeleton techniques may be adjusted in response to measured inputs such as motion or electrical signals generated by the user. In this way, exoskeleton technology can interpret known inputs and learn new inputs, leading to a smoother user experience.
