The present invention relates to an apparatus for predicting battery life based on an AC impedance using a minute current. In more detail, it relates to an AC impedance-based battery life prediction apparatus using a minute current for battery life prediction, which becomes basic information for operation of a battery management system (BMS). The present invention provides an AC signal generator for generating an AC signal and then applying it to a battery pack including a plurality of battery cells; A cell selection unit for selecting a battery cell for predicting a lifetime among the plurality of battery cells; An impedance calculator configured to calculate an AC impedance of the selected battery cell by using an AC voltage output from the selected battery cell by the AC signal; And an SOH calculator configured to calculate a state of charge (SOH) of the selected battery cell using the alternating current impedance, and predict a lifespan of the selected battery cell using the SOH. According to the present invention, since the AC impedance of each battery cell constituting the battery pack is measured by applying an AC signal having a single frequency, and the lifespan of each battery cell is predicted using this, the equipment cost can be greatly reduced with a simple device configuration. It is possible to provide a battery life prediction device.
