The present invention relates to a hydrophobic gel for absorbing VOCs containing a crosslinking agent containing a succinimide repeating unit and a hydrophobic monomer, and the hydrophobic gel of the present invention does not decrease its mechanical strength even when it absorbs VOC, and prevents swelling and drying. It is repeatable and can be reused for VOC absorption and removal.
