The present invention relates to methacryloyl phosphoryl choline (MPC) spherical hydrogel particles, and more particularly, hydrogel made from an aqueous solution of a water-in-oil (w/o) emulsion using MPC and a water-soluble crosslinking agent. It relates to gel particles and a method for producing the same.
