A device for evaluating the limb muscle strength in small laboratory animals in an experiment belongs to the field of experimental biology, medicine, and pharmacology and is intended to determine the limb muscle strength in small laboratory animals during experimental studies. The device includes a frame with fixed axes, on which a linear displacement unit is mounted with a mobile platform mounted on it, on which a wireless force registration system and a device for fastening the animal are fixed, in addition, a DC motor with a coil is mounted on the frame, the power of which is supplied with by means of a switch and which is connected by means of a thread to a mobile platform. The proposed utility model makes it possible to quickly test the muscle strength of the paws of laboratory animals, which is very important for integrated objective screening of the effectiveness of pharmacological substances in preclinical trials. The proposed calculation of the specific force allows not to use absolute values, and to objectify the data even when comparing groups of animals with different masses.
