The utility model relates to mechanical engineering, namely to contactless support units with electromagnetic bearings, and can be used to create high-speed rotor units. The technical problem solved by the proposed utility model is to increase the perceived load, to provide a suspension of the rotor without charge. the use of electromagnets in an active magnetic bearing, the magnetic circuit of which is made of U-shaped plates of electrical steel. The electromagnets are installed in a non-magnetic housing and are secured with clamping plates. The use of sheet electrical steel in AMF with axial flow closure provides a significantly higher induction value in the air gap: 1.2-1.5 T in the case of using plates of electrical sheet steel instead of 0.7-1.0 T when using solid steel. This achieves a 2-fold increase in the AMP bearing capacity.
