METHOD OF TREATING AND PREVENTING VIRAL INFECTIOUS DISEASES OF BIRDS

FIELD: veterinary medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agents for treating and preventing viral diseases of birds. A method of treating and preventing viral infectious diseases of birds is described. On 5th–10th day of life, an antiviral preparation alloferon in dose of 100 mcg per individual is injected intramuscularly into a zone of external iliofemoral muscle (musculus iliofemoralis externus) with a needle depth of 3–7 mm for 2 seconds. A dose is calculated proceeding from the condition: 0.1 ml of Allokin 1 ml dissolved in 1 ml of physiologic saline.;EFFECT: technical result is higher effectiveness of vaccination, associated with the fact that vaccination is carried out by injection preparation, having no specific specificity, and therefore not causing allergic and pyrogenic reactions, which are manifested in the form of temperature increase, as well as having antiviral effectiveness.;1 cl, 8 ex, 2 tbl
