FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making wheel rim, disc and steel wheel and steel wheel, which is made using these methods. Rim of wheel/disc wheel is heated in furnace for heating and heated workpiece of wheel/disc rim is moved to hot press. Temperature of the wheel rim/disc rim is maintained above the required temperature when the heated workpiece of the wheel/disc rim is moved to the hot press. Then the rim of the wheel/disc is shaped in a hot press.
