FIELD: electrical engineering; radio engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric radio engineering and communication and can be used in data transmission systems using multifrequency signals with orthogonal frequency division of channels, for evaluation of communication channel parameters. Method includes measuring signal and noise signal amplitude values at all frequencies used to transmit an information signal with preliminary addition and subtraction of two adjacent transmissions, and an analytical expression is used for the density of the random variable equal to the ratio of the measured values.;EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention is to ensure estimation of parameters of signal envelope signal fading according to Nakagami on information multifrequency signal in case, in received information multifrequency signal for data transmission there used is all subcarriers of frequency inside allocated band - thus, speed of data transfer is not reduced.;1 cl, 1 dwg
