FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of Fe-Al intermetallic material. From powder material Fe-Al mixture is prepared with ratio 70:30 in ball mill for 2–3 hours with degassing in vacuum at pressure P=10 Pa with subsequent action of HFI low-pressure discharge plasma. Plasma-forming gas used is argon, by introducing it into a vessel for feeding powder material, which is continuously exposed to plasma flow when it passes through the plasmatron.;EFFECT: can be used in production of parts from parts of powder material with high mechanical and operational properties.;1 cl, 2 dwg
