METHOD OF FORMING A MUCOSAL FLAP WITH SURGICAL APPROACH TO THE MAXILLARY SINUS THROUGH A LOWER NASAL PASSAGE

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rhinosinusosurgery, and can be used in surgical intervention on maxillary sinuses. Infiltration anesthesia and medialization of the inferior nasal concha is performed. In infiltration anesthesia, the injection is performed under the mucous membrane in the agger nasi area, in the bottom and lateral wall of the nasal cavity under the inferior nasal concha. A U-shaped incision is made: vertical lines of the incision are made at the level of the anterior end of the inferior nasal concha and at the posterior edge of the canopy of the lower nasal passage; a horizontal incision is made from behind in front of the bottom of the nose and the lower borders of the vertical incisions are joined to form a U-shaped flap.;EFFECT: invention provides creating a surgical approach allowing sufficient visualization of basal sinus with maximum preservation of anatomical integrity of the inferior nasal concha and nasolacrimal duct, reducing the length of postoperative rehabilitation.;1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
