FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of complex material with metal matrix reinforced with single-walled carbon nanotubes. This method includes the following: (a) complex powder is obtained by grinding 99.9 vol. % of copper powder and 0.1 vol. % of powder of single-wall carbon nanotubes in a ball mill; and (b) producing complex material containing metal and carbon nanotubes by means of spark plasma sintering (IPA) of complex powder obtained at stage (a) at temperature of 600 °C and pressure of 600 MPa during 5 minutes.;EFFECT: invention provides a denser microstructure with smaller content of single-wall carbon nanotubes, high hardness and wear resistance of parts made from said complex material.;4 cl, 15 dwg
