SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADMINISTERING PATIENT'S MEDICAL RECORDS BY AUTOMATIC COLLECTION OF CLINICAL DATA

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to administration of patient's medical records by means of automatic collection of clinical data from one or more medical devices in healthcare facility. Disclosed is a system for realizing a method, the system comprising: medical devices, information systems connected to medical devices and capable of automatically collecting clinical data from medical devices and storing personal data and acting assignments of said patient, as well as active prescriptions in the form of a therapeutic program carried out by medical devices on said patient. System also comprises: biometric identification devices for identification of the said patient's identity, a control means capable of attaching said identification device to the information system, and storage means for collecting clinical data from medical devices for obtaining medical records. Control device comprises an interface device capable of operatively connecting the identification device to medical devices. Control means is able to automatically collect clinical data from medical devices and store them in storage device as soon as the following conditions occur: identification device correctly identifies patient's identity, control means finds that the patient's identity is present in the information system, and the interface device recognizes the medical devices to be actuated in accordance with one of the patient's active prescriptions. Administration system is capable of extracting, at a later time, clinical data relating to the result, respectively, repeatedly accessing them in the correctly recognized patient, even if the said patient is no longer present.;EFFECT: group of inventions provides more effective administration of patient's medical records.;12 cl, 6 dwg
