FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development and enrichment of sands of placer deposits of precious metals, including storages of technogenic wastes located in area of long-term or seasonal permafrost. Method of extracting high temperature water from silt-detention water reservoir is characterized by the fact that a ditch is arranged parallel to the shoreline of the silt-detention water reservoir, on which the pump unit is mounted, and the bridge separating the ditch from the silt-detention water reservoir, is lowered to a depth providing for water overflow into the ditch from the heated layers of the silt-detention water reservoir.;EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring reduction of energy consumption and high completeness of extraction of useful component from initial rock mass (sands).;2 cl, 3 dwg
