FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To minimize induced optical aberrations in surgical treatment of glaucoma, sclera is separated along perimeter of superficial scleral flap. Trapezoidal incision of the sclera is performed with a greater base towards the limb and at depth of 400–500 mcm. Planned superficial scleral flap of the trapezoidal shape is directed towards the limb. Deep scleral flap is excised. Two laxative scissor incisions 450 mcm deep are made parallel to each other at 1 mm from the boundary corresponding to the trapezoidal base minimum base. Node sutures applied on the superficial scleral flap are passed through the zone between the first and the first laxative incision.;EFFECT: method enables minimizing induced optical aberrations, thereby providing higher functional results in the postoperative period.;1 cl, 2 ex, 1 dwg
