FIELD: measurement.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of permanent magnetic fields and can be used to develop magnetooptical instruments based thereon. Technical result is achieved in device (magnetoplasmon crystal – MPlC), consisting of one-dimensional diffraction grating with sub-wave period and a thin layer of ferromagnetic metal, and a dielectric passivating layer deposited on a lattice of a thin layer of a noble metal with a negative real part of dielectric permeability. This type of MPlC is characterized by possibility of excitation of surface plasmon-polaritons by diffraction method, which allows to intensify magnetooptical effects in narrow spectral excitation range of surface plasmon-polaritons.;EFFECT: expansion of arsenal of sensors for measurement of constant magnetic field on local sections.;8 cl, 4 dwg
