METHOD TO INCREASE NPP EXPLOSION SAFETY

FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for reduction of effects of explosive loads on industrial premises, including those for NPP and large-scale chemical plants. Method to increase explosion safety in closed rooms by means of attenuation of action on a protected surface of a combustion wave or shock wave consists in arrangement of obstacles in front of the protected surface in the form of elastic shells filled with substance not supporting combustion. As the substance filling the shell there used is incombustible gas; the shells themselves are made from material destructing during time and under action of movement along the surface of shells of the wave of combustion or shock wave. Filling of shells with incombustible gas takes place immediately after detection of inflammable gas in the space in front of the protected object in hazardous concentration.;EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of explosion safety, reduction of impact of explosion wave formed during emergency explosion of combustible-air mixtures on walls and floors of protected rooms.;7 cl, 1 tbl, 2 dwg
