FIELD: methods of counterfeit protection.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protection against counterfeiting and prevention of involvement of produced and supplied products into shadow circulation. Such result is achieved due to the fact that scanner enables bar code scanning applied per unit of product, in which an information access key to information on a specific product unit in the information system is encoded, wherein said scanner is configured to interact with information system and scanning capability of said bar code, and when performing the bar code scanning, each specific unit of the product with the bar code applied to it is simultaneously related to the information on that specific unit, which activates the bar code in the information system, wherein in the process of verification, reading the bar code from the checked product unit using the code scanner with simultaneous display of information on the product unit, wherein bar code elements are additionally made with possibility of coating by anti-counterfeit element—chemical composition, with possibility of barcode scanning and visual monitoring of availability of chemical composition in bar code elements, wherein the chemical composition for coating the bar code elements is such that it does not prevent machine reading of the barcode.;EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of product protection against counterfeit.;6 cl
