Disclosed method of ensuring safe operation of a positional underwater object is based on a method for radar reading of acoustic vibrations of a water surface. Method involves irradiating a section of the sea surface at the location of the positional underwater object with acoustic and electromagnetic waves. Information is transmitted from the positional underwater object due to temporary modulation of acoustic waves during each period of acoustic action, and reception of information by control point is realized due to irradiation, reception and decoding of electromagnetic waves reflected from sea surface. Lengths of the acoustic and electromagnetic waves are selected in accordance with the angles of irradiation of the sea surface to provide reverse re-reflection of electromagnetic waves on the radiation source. Device for realizing the method consists of an aircraft (space) apparatus or a shore station and a position submerged object itself, apparatus for acoustic probing of the sea surface, consisting of a generator unit, a control unit and an acoustic radiator with a highly directional radiation characteristic, and to receive information, an aerial (space) apparatus or coast station is equipped with a radar reading device for acoustic vibrations.;EFFECT: technical result of group of inventions is safety of functioning of position underwater object during communication with monitoring station.;2 cl, 3 dwg
