A training device (2) for improving strength, flexibility, endurance and control at various joints and their surrounding soft tissue on the extremities is described. It can be used both as a general training device and also specifically before or after surgery. For this purpose, the pressure or tensile forces exerted by a training person on the training device are recorded by sensors and transmitted wirelessly to a receiving device for evaluation and storage.
