It describes a training device (2) for improving strength, flexibility, endurance and control at various joints and their surrounding soft tissue jacket on the extremities. It can be used both as a general training device and especially pre- or postoperatively. For this purpose, the pressure or tensile forces exerted by a person exercising on the training device are detected by means of sensors and transmitted wirelessly to a receiving device for evaluation and storage.
