The invention relates to a suspension of a vehicle with a guided by five links wheel and a supported on one of the handlebar suspension spring for the vehicle body, which a vibration damper is functionally connected in parallel, wherein the vibration damper is supported on the wheel side directly on the wheel. Preferably, the points of articulation of both the vibration damper and the handlebar carrying the suspension spring on the wheel carrier are outside the range of the jaw width of a rim of a wheel fixed to the wheel carrier.
