An impeller pump has a pump chamber with an inlet, an outlet and a circumferential jacket as the outer wall of the pump chamber in the radial direction, which is predominantly formed by a heating element. A pump chamber cover connects to the jacket toward a front of the impeller pump in which the inlet is provided. A pump chamber floor connects to the jacket towards a rear of the impeller pump. The pump chamber has an additional outlet with an opening, which is advantageously provided in the pump chamber cover. Additional outlet and opening should open into the pump chamber as high as possible for the best possible ventilation of the pump. The additional outlet and opening advantageously run in the direction of the longitudinal central axis of the impeller pump, so that production by plastic injection molding is simple.
