A process for producing a fabric softener which has at least one fabric softening compound, at least one fragrance and at least one silicone oil, in a continuous process, characterized in that the fabric softening compound is initially introduced in at least one solvent, the fragrance is metered in and then the silicone oil is metered in and by means of fabric softener produced by this process.
