The invention relates to a deflection device for temperature-dependent deflection of a fluid for a vehicle. The deflection device has a fluid supply line (20), a first fluid discharge line (31) and a second fluid discharge line (32). The first fluid drain (31) can be locked by means of a first closing element (51) and the second fluid drain (32) can be locked by means of a second locking element (52). The deflection device also has a thermal actuator (40) which is arranged in the fluid feed line (20). The thermal actuator (40) has a thermostatic piston (42) which is connected to the first closing element (51) and the second closing element (52) and, at a first temperature of the fluid in the fluid supply line (20), a first position and, at a second temperature, has a second position so that the thermostatic piston (42) closes the first fluid drain (31) in the first position and the second fluid drain (32) in the second position and thereby closes the fluid depending on the temperature of the fluid in the fluid feed line (20), into the first fluid discharge line (31) or into the second fluid discharge line (32).
