The present invention relates to a breathable plug for ventilating and stirring a furnace bottom, which is attached to the bottom of the furnace body of the furnace and comprises a breathable core which is made of a high-temperature-resistant material and has ventilation holes, the lower end face of the breathable core being included is provided with a recess, the recess being provided with an insertion hole. A first expansion disk is arranged at one end of a high-temperature-resistant, seamless tube, the end section of the high-temperature-resistant, seamless tube being inserted into the insertion hole of the breathable core, the first expansion disk being located within the recess. The first solidified body made of refractory casting material is formed by curing a highly refractory casting material filled in the recess. The second solidified refractory molding material body is formed by curing a high refractory molding material that surrounds the breathable core, the first solidified fireproof molding material body, and the outer surface of the seamless tube. The invention further relates to a metal melting furnace having the above-mentioned breathable plug.
