BREATHABLE PLUG FOR VENTILATION AND MIXING AT FURNACE BOTTOM OF SMELTING FURNACE, AND METAL SMELTING FURNACE

The invention relates to a breathable plug for ventilation and mixing at a furnace bottom of a smelting furnace. The breathable plug is mounted at the bottom of a furnace body of a smelting furnace. The breathable plug comprises: a breathable core made from a high temperature resistant material and having breathing holes therein; and a recess disposed at a lower end surface of the breathable core. An insertion hole is disposed inside the recess. A first end expansion plate is disposed at one end of a high temperature resistant seamless tube. An end portion of the high temperature resistant seamless tube is inserted into the insertion hole of the breathable core, such that the first expansion plate is located inside the recess. A first refractory castable solidified structural body is formed by solidifying a high-strength refractory castable with which the recess is filled. A second refractory castable solidified structural body is formed by solidifying a high-strength refractory castable covering the breathable core, the first refractory castable solidified structural body, and an outer surface of the high temperature resistant seamless tube. The invention also relates a metal smelting furnace comprising the breathable plug. The breathable plug has multiple structures for preventing a breathable core from dislodging and multiple sealing structures, strengthens the fixation of the breathable core and the high temperature resistant seamless tube, and improves the overall service life of a furnace body.
