Methods of printing a conductive article are provided, which may include: dispensing a first ink composition and a second ink composition toward a substrate surface to form a deposition area on the substrate surface or on a previously printed article on the substrate surface, the first ink composition comprises an aqueous solution of a metal compound and the second ink composition comprises an aqueous solution of a stable free radical; dispensing the other of the first and second ink compositions into the deposition region to mix the first and second ink compositions and to induce chemical reduction of the metal compound by the stable free radical and precipitation of the metal of the metal compound; and removing the solvent from the deposition area, thereby forming a conductive article comprising the precipitated metal.
