The method (900) comprises determining (901) a temporal sequence of values of at least one measurement variable with respect to a driving-dynamic state of the vehicle (100). The method (900) further comprises determining (902) a first sequence (701) of first filtered values (711) by filtering the sequence of values with a first filter, and determining (903) a second sequence (702) of second filtered values (712) by filtering the sequence of values with a second filter, the first filter and the second filter being different. The method (900) further comprises determining (904) a current value (505) of the model parameter using a learned neural network (500, 800), the neural network (500, 800) for at least one input node (401) has a first filtered value (711) and at least one input node (401) for a second filtered value (712) and at least one output node (404) for the current value (505) of the model parameter.
