TRANSITION AND RECOVERY PATH FROM ECALL PLUS TO ECALL ONLY

This disclosure provides a transition and recovery path from eCall Plus to eCall Only. In response to the detection of a transition from an eCall Plus mode to an eCall only mode and a confirmation of a message from the transition from a service delivery network (SDN) sent to the SDN by a telematics controller, the telematics controller connects to a network again in eCall-only mode. In response to a transition from eCall-Only mode to eCall-Plus mode, the controller reconnects to the network in eCall-Plus mode.
