The invention relates to a burnishing bath with a bath container (1) for receiving a bath liquid (2) and a liquid supply device (7) for introducing the bath liquid (2) into the bath container (1). The burnishing bath is designed in such a way that the bath container (1) can be filled with the bath liquid (2) at least up to a minimum level (4) when the burnishing bath is in operation. The liquid supply device (7) has a liquid outlet (9) which is arranged within a shield (8). The shield (8) is arranged partly above and partly below the minimum level (4) with respect to the direction of gravity. The liquid supply device (7) has a droplet separator for separating liquid droplets from a vapor-liquid mixture.
