Circular design of a Sagnac interferometer already known in principle, characterized in that a light guide HLL is attached to the outer edge surface of a circular disk S and that this disk can rotate the light guide in a rotationally symmetrical manner about its center and that a light transmitter LE is located at one point of the light guide is incorporated with the aim of sending coherent light pulses LP1 and LP2 in the light guide, as shown in Fig.2. The oppositely running light pulses LP1 and LP2 have a certain frequency and are of the same length L. The structure of the circular Sagnac experiment is further completed with two mirrors M1 and M2 at the same point on the light guide at the light transmitter LE, with the help of which the the light pulses arriving light pulses are deflected outwards and preferably perpendicular to the plane of the pane S, these light pulses in the monitor device M according to their properties and their interaction with one another, for example can be evaluated with an already known interferometer or in another way.
