This means that a model car, both alone and in conjunction with other vehicles, represents exemplary road traffic. The system should also be integrated on existing systems with minimal effort. The basic functions such as driving, regulating speed, keeping the right distance and stopping behind the previous vehicle are performed by the model cars independently and without external influence. For this purpose, vehicles shall actively communicate with each other. In addition, communication between different modules and model cars is planned,which can actively generate and transmit data via an infrared interface. There is further communication between the model car and an intelligent module that can independently evaluate the internal information of the model car and takes appropriate actions. This communication is based on a protocol to be protected.
