Cross-table for a woodworking machine, in particular for a format saw, comprising:-a cross-section,a horizontal first workpiece surface,-a stop rail fixed to the cross-section above the first workpiece surface with:A first vertically positioned workpiece impactor on the first side of the impactor rail so arranged; that a plate-shaped workpiece can be mounted on the first workpiece bearing surface in a horizontal area in front of the stop rail with a side edge on the first workpiece impactor surface,A second vertical workpiece impactor on a second side opposite the first side of the impactor, the second workpiece impactor being so arranged, that a plate-shaped workpiece mounted on the first workpiece surface can be mounted on the second workpiece impactor horizontally behind the impactor rail by means of a side edge at the second workpiece impactor surface, characterized by:the first workpiece bearing surface is formed by a bearing surface of a support beam; and-the support beam is positioned in a movable position relative to the cross-section.
