Rotary cutting insert for a stainless steel flange, a positioning central bore (18) arranged in the geometric center being provided on a cutting insert body (1), characterized in that the cutting insert body (1) is polygonal and the cutting insert body (1) has an upper surface (2 ), a lower surface (3), a plurality of lateral surfaces (4) and arc surfaces (5) located between two adjacent lateral surfaces (4), wherein the upper surface (2) of the insert body (1) is provided with a plurality of first bulges (17), which are arranged uniformly on the circumference of the positioning central bore (18), on the outer side of two adjacent first bulges (17) and a second bulge (19) is provided at the midpoint between a point where two side surfaces (4) intersect and form an obtuse angle, and the connection point with the upper surface (2), the insert body (1) having at least a cutting unit (A) is provided, which is arranged at a corner of the insert body (1), the cutting unit (A) consisting of an arcuate cutting edge (6), a main cutting edge (7) and a chip-dividing unit (B), the cutting unit (A) is arranged symmetrically with respect to an bisector P, the arcuate cutting edge (6) by cutting the arc surface (5) with the upper surface (2) is formed while the main cutting edge (7) is formed by cutting the side surface (4) with the top surface (2), the chip breaker unit (B) comprising a chip breaker (15), a first chip face (8, 11), a second chip face (11), a chip breaker groove bottom surface (10), a chip receiving groove bottom surface (13) and a crescent-shaped bulge (14 ) exists, whereby the chip divider unit (B) along the bisector P starting from the curved cutting edge (6) in the direction of the central positioning bore (18) in turn with the curved cutting edge (6), the first cutting surface (8, 11) and the second cutting surface (9, 12), the chip divider groove bottom surface (10), the first chip breaker (15) and the first bulge (17) are connected, wherein the crescent-shaped bulge (14) is arranged on the outer side of a point at which the chip breaker bottom surface (10) and the first chip breaker (15) intersect, the other side of the crescent-shaped bulge (14) with the chip receiving groove. Bottom surface (13) is connected, and wherein the cutting width and a first rake angle on the arcuate cutting edge (6) are larger than the cutting width and the first rake angle on the main cutting edge (7), respectively.
